If you're asking if you can beat a Civic, its time to get a new motor. And if you have a 2000 3.8L car, I think you're plain stupid for going out to spend money swapping an LS1 and tranny into your car. You're much better off selling your car if its in half-way decent shape and just buying an LS1/T56 car to begin with.

Funny how the primered and beat-up looking Civics with B16 swaps always end up being the ones running 13s or better. He's gonna toast you, and you're already making excuses before the race even starts. "Man my cat is rattling, you're probably gonna beat me". Think 200hp+ (about whats in your car) in a car that weighs 1200-1500lbs less than yours.

all i know is that my firebird takes off pretty decent for wut it is until about 60 mph it runs strong and then dies out. i love the car and dont wanna get rid of it i would rather drop an ls1 in there, then to go trade my car,but its all just one big pain in the *** and i would end up loosin money in the end.
