tb bypass

what is a TB bypass?

Throttle body bypass. Basically bypassing the fluid from the throttle body. Theory is that if you do this, the throttle body will not be as warm. There by allowing colder air into the engine. Cheap mod and worth it if you do NOT live in a freezing cold climate like up north.

Damn, I never knew GM put coolant through the V6 F-Bods TBs. I need to get with time

well, this only applies to the 3.4L engines, the 3.8s don't have any coolent running through the TB as it is, so no bypass possible.
