No, ive never heard of anyone doing that before. It would be kind of cool to have a custom targa top put on a hard top car. The price sounds about right for something like that.

I remember a while back when I first joined this site, someone posted a picture in the lounge of a 4th gen Camaro with a targa top. So it has been done before, but that is the only time I have ever seen or heard of this.

I remember that too. It's been done but the guy had a T-Top and actually I think he did it himself. I believe he made the top out of Carbon Fiber but i'm not 100% sure. Do a search for it, I remember the thread being pretty long.

For the install of a TARGA top or a T-top?

if oyu do do a Targa top It hink it might be mroe expensive then that, also you are going to defienelty need subframe connectors and maybe more. if you do a targa top and take out hte center support beam of t-tops could get cause the structure of the car to change.

Yeah a Targa Top could turn your car into a death trap. Just think with out the support and if you got in a wreck at a high enough speed your car could collapse in around you. I don’t know, it would be cool just don’t know how safe.

Targa top would definnatly cause severe integirty issues and a lot of body roll. But the idea is cool. Reminds me of when i was going to have 4 t-tops cut into my 88' caprice
