take a guess

Taking the 89 Bombdaville to the track tomorrow night. Its got a descreened Maf sensor, cai, orp and 283,000 on the clock. What do you think it willl run?

Well since there were no guess's I'll just tell you what it ran , 15.6 at 86 mph. 2.6 sixty. This thing could not get out of the hole.

Is that an L67? Not a bad time at all considering how slow off the line and the mileage.

its the 3.8. Don't knwo the code for it. I'm lt1 ls1 tpi knowledge kind of guy. Yeah this thing is a pig out of the hole.... Plus I was kinds taking it sorta easy out of the hole due to the shot motor mounts.

I looked it up and it's the LN3, the Buick 3800 Series I motor. 165hp and 220lb/ft which makes your 15.6 pretty damn impressive especially considering that 60'.

I thought it might have been the supercharged L67 but that didn't come out until '92.

Very nice times. It would be interesting to see what it could pull if you could get some better sixty foot times. Some of us L67 guys might be put to shame.

Well I have to admit that I when I did the head gaskets and T/C the heads where rebuilt and alittle massaged... Does that count as cheating? The bottom end still has the mileage. Its a nice little daily driver that's got alittle punch to it. But by today's standards its still a pig
