T Top Leakage

I have a 99 Camaro with t tops. I rarely take them off, but everytime i go to the carwash, they always leak and water goes inside my car. Not a lot of water comes rushing in, but a noticable amount does. I was wondering if i can reseal my tops so that this can stop. What can i do to stop this leaking. Any comments would be greatly appreciated!

Where are they leaking? My tops on my 98 only leak when I hit a "hard" stream towards where the glass and the tops meet during a car wash. But when it's raining they don't leak.....but get this....sometimes I will get a few drops from that same spot if I've opened the door and then close it back while it's raining. That comes fom your window not going up "quite" far enough. It dosen't take alot, 1/4 mm is enough. If it's not that bad, i wouldn't touch it - just be aware and keep a couple napkins in the car. If it is an issue, do a search for "adjusting the windows" on this board, it has been a topic before. More of a hassle I think unless it's really an issue. Hope this helped.

It could also be the weather stripping around the door, I just adressed this issue in my car. The weather stripping just sits there a bead of clear caulk seals it right up.

My t-tops were leaking a while back and I replaced the weather striping on the edge of the t-top, and around the door. One problem in mine was the stripping in the t-top itself was not lined up even, so it left a small gap. And to think...the dealership told me half of my car was longer than the other half.

Mine were doing the same thing last week with all the rain we got. I finly took mine off and put vasolien on all the rubber that meats the glass and windows and it seamed to work.
