such thing as a formula v6???

I was under the impression all formula firebird cars (93-97) were all 5.7 LT1 cars, but a friend of mine told me there were formula V6 Cars is this true? Doesnt make any sense to me. But I dont know much about Pontiac's.

Actually there's a company out there that takes 6 cylinder Firebirds, fixes them up and puts Formula V6 decals on them. They have a website, don't remember what it is though

If there is a Formula V6, it wasn't produced by GM.

I wish GM had the ***** to build something like that. But they certainly don't, well, nowadays anyway.

All Formulas lt1 or ls1 are 5.7L V8's. There is no V6 formula. Basically it works like this:

Firebird = V6

Formula = firebird body style with V8

Trans Am = slight body modifications including spoiler + V8

Firehawk = one smoking and rare beast

If you see a formula badge with a V6 engine then he is a poser.
