Is the car cranking over normally, or is it cranking very slowly? It may not be a starting/charging system issue, it could also be ignition or fuel related.

it acctually cranks over normally until like 10 mins of doing then the battery starts to weakin as the starts get more and more slugish , until i just hear the starter solenoids snapping then i go to pep boys and recharge my batter for free....i jus got my stimulus check so im hoping to find a real REAL real good mechanic/technician that can figure out this starting problem, and i still have that p1518 diag. code>>?

Ten minutes is very excessive. That will easily run your battery down and can very well damage your starter. I'm guessing the problem lies elsewhere. As suggested about, those basic priniciples are what makes the car run.

i had a problem once where the car would not start after a heavy rain if it had been been sitting. Turned out to be the coolent temp sensor (right behind the thermostat on the 3.4l). It is supposed to send a signal to the computer to run rich when it is cold or damp outside. $12 from Autozone and easy replacement.
