squealing brakes

squealing brakes

just had a front brake job last week and there still making noise, ive sprayed lots of brake cleaner on hoping it will settle down w/o removing the wheel and brake assembly... it has gotten better but i dont think it will go away
any suggestions?

Hey man, I have the same problem. I have the Reybesta brake pads, and they only seems to squeal when I apply the brake at 20 MPH or lower. I am prolly gonna take it to pep boys or somewhere i can get a free break inspection and hopefully that will take care of it.

ive had pads squeek in the past as soon as i have put them on, but give them a couple hundred miles and they will sit right in and you wont get the noise anymore.

Ah yes, a former V6er coming back to the V6 board to poke some fun now that he's moved up to a big, bad V8. Must make you feel better, eh?

I wouldn't worry about the brake pads...give it some time to break in. Just replaced the pads in my sister's car...hers made some noise for the first day or two. Went away...

Former V6er, NO. I still own a 3.4, as the sig says. Actually I come here every day and check out this area to see if I can help out anywhere. And it was a joke as stated with my smiley
