Spare Tire
The spare tire is located in the hatch. If you open the hatch and look to the right, the plastic panel on the right has screws that come out using a quarter. Taking out the three screws you can now take off that plastic piece and there is your spare. The car jack should be laying in front of the tire.
As for what tires you should get, well if you want something affordable I wouldn't get a name brand. Most name brands chrage you a lot just for the name. Check out tirerack.com for different types of tires you could go with.
