Smoldered Yet Another Wire!
Smoldered Yet Another Wire!
Well this is getting old...
Where can I get some heat sheathing / boot protectors... The cheaper the better because I'm on a tight budget, not to mention I need new wires now... Whats a good 8mm wire choice that I can get for $45 or less?

There is no stock location, or atleast not from what I see...
When I got it there were no fastners of any type and wires ran all over the place... I routed them under the manifolds because I can't clear the manifolds if I route them over them...
Re: Smoldered Yet Another Wire!
Ok. The drivers side wires go up from behind the the manifold, and on the passenger side, they go over the top of the intake and down under the manifold. might try to make them fit like that. I am still running stock wires with no problems.
Re: Smoldered Yet Another Wire!
I'll try but I'm ordering 1,200 Degrees Heat Sleaves, Taylor 8MM Spiro's, and Routers...
I shaln't burn another wire again unless I do something stupid...

Re: Smoldered Yet Another Wire!
I routed my wire for #6 to thru the back instead of under the manifold also don't your boots have the metal protective boot covers. Mine still does. I just replaced wires cause the stock ones were still there so I thought they needed to be changed due to them being 80,000 miles old but still pretty good condition.

Re: Smoldered Yet Another Wire!
I always hear to go with taylor or msd. I have stock ignition stuff right now but when I comeback in a few months I'm going to get the whole msd setup. msd dis-4, msd interface to coils, msd coils, msd wires, and ngk iridium plugs. That will give me smoother idle and acceleration and better gas and lil bit more power of course but nothing huge of course unless prior system sucked and misfiring or whatever.
