SLP exhaust from an SS on a 94' 3.4L?

My buddy is trying to sell me his SLP exhaust. i have a stock 3.4L. I just got my maro a few months ago so im pretty new to the whole camaro tunning scene. Would this be a good addition for my car or should i hold out? And if so, how much do you think it would cost to get put on.

Thanks!

Vince

Air in and out is what makes an engine go.

A catback and cold air are usually the first mods people do,the V8 exhaust is a good upgrade over your V6 system.

If its in good shape and the price is right go for it.

No problem.

I had the exhaust off a 99 WS6 on my 3.4L DD

Muffler shop charged me $50.00 plus supplies $75.00 total.

Offer $80.00 for the exhaust and maybe he meets you at $100.00.

Awesome, thanks alot tom you've been alot of help.

I'll see if i can get it lowered alittle, im going to buy his 00' Camaro wheels as well, so i may just try to get both for a nice price.

You mentioned a CAI as a good starter as well, i started looking for 'em on the net, i know ive been asking a lot of questions but any insight on a particular brand or should i just go with K&N(which are kinda pricey)? i found some 100 dollar ones with a K&N filter on ebay, think its worth it to get a cheap system with a high flow filter? someone also told me to consider just building my own. just looking for some guidance i guess, i dont want to half *** anything.

Thanks!

As I said no prob. thats what the car hobby is all about, helping each other.

The build your own systems(Home Depot/Hardware stores) sometimes look real cheesy if they are not done right.

The K/N system fits both LT1 and 3.4L it has a little extension in the kit for the V6.
