No hp

I have installed my automatic transmission in my 94, I have changed the plugs and will be going though vacuum lines this weekend. I have no HP, transmission seems to be working fine and I have tested the computer as well and that seems good. However my service engine soon light is on and the code scanner isn't reading any codes??? I was just wondering if anyone out there has any ideas or suggestions. And I checked compression and it's good

This is not an "Advanced Tech" topic. Appears it should be in one of the "Engine" tech forums. But you don't tell us anything other than its a 94. Is it a V8 of V6? Let us know and I'll move it to the correct forum.

What kind of scanner are you using to try and read the codes?

You need to add a "Signature" with basic info about your car - year, model, engine, trans and any major modifications. That way we can answer your questions without asking for more info.

Go to the red task bar at the top of every page. Left click on "User CP". On the drop down, left click on "Edit Signature". Type the info in the screen that appears and save it.

Looks like you may have missed hooking something back up,double check all your connections on your wiring harness.

Also look for bent pins on any connecters you plugged/unplugged.

We have rechecked those they are in nicely, pins look good, initially when I took out the plugs I was only running on about 4.5 cylinders, the people that owned the car before me honestly have no business ever owning a car again, they electrical tapped the Shrader valve cap back together amaongst other things I have found and fixed, I know atleast one more vacuum hose I need to replace I just done't know if there is something else I should be considering
