You might notice a slight difference in performance, but nothing outstanding.

Re: SLP Cold Air Intake?

Ive had it for about 3 years and from the first day I couldnt notice a difference. Then I got real K+n's cuz I thought it may have been the filters and couldnt notice anything. I dunnno, maybe it was just my car. Good luck.

If you car is stock and it is your first mod, you won't likely notice much. It should feel stronger the higher you go with the RPMs though.

After you install a cat-back, it feels a lot stronger. They work better together...

its not going to be a HUGE difference, but enough that you should notice that your car feels a little difference.

When I had my 3.8v6 Camaro, I definitely noticed a difference in low and high end power when I added the SLP CAI.

Same setup I've got. I love it, but I'm always worried about the two filters falling off. I try checking on them every once in awhile but they're kind of hard to see, and I don't feel like pulling the whole CAI out becuase it's a PITA.

Edit: Oops, just realized I am in the V6 section. Sorry.

Yeah, I tried to be lazy and remove the whole thing and put the filters on and then lower it down into its spot...but the filters wouldn't fit into that hole. So now every few months, I get to climb under, remove the splash guards and then remove them and install the fresh filters ( I have two sets of the CAI filters).

It is a pain to get the filters to get just right on the pipe...and tighten the little clamps....while on your back.
