SES Light
Alright guys...my car is pretty sick, and it has been for awhile. Before I pay some guy a bunch of money just to look at my engine, I was wondering your opinions first. Whenever I try and accelerate, the car almost "jolts" and it has a very hard time getting through the rpm band, and shifting gears. The engine/exhaust makes strange sounds, and it hesitates pretty bad. If i try and floor it, it hesitates a BUNCH, and the rpms are shaky. Any idea whats wrong? Fuel pump? Tranny? Sorry i was kinda vague on whats wrong.. but i'm worried about it..
Oh yeah:
Its a 2000 V6 A4. Only mods are Ravin rear section and Whisper lid. Thanks for any help.

Sounds like spark plugs to me but thats just based on my experiances. If your SES is flashing, there is a misfire. If there is an AutoZone, check your SES code there since they do it for free. They're codes are different from what it really is so you'll have to come back here to check what it is.
Depending on how many miles you have on your 2000, I'd change them anyways.

Thanks for the help guys.. when I find out what is wrong, i'll post back.. don't know when i'll have time to bring her in though. I think a full tune up is what she needs.. almost 42K miles and only a 2000...
