I am looking to buy an MSD ignition box. I would like to ask some questiosn:
What are the gainsfrom the box?
Are there any bad things from it? <like engine problems, decreased engine (piston) life>
Any gains from it?
How is the fuel economy?

IS IT BAD FOR THE ENGINE?

I noticed a better idle and 1 MPG improvement.......which means using my average annual mileage gaining 1 MPG and the average cost of gas at 1.60 I will see the unit pay for itself in 7 years....any questions

 

no gains in acceleration???

basically its a waste of money?

 

I did not notice any real gains....I got more out of a CAi and exhaust
