I went in and auto zone said.. 02 censor 6th spargplug misfireing evap leak or gas cap and EGR running at 10%... ok so i changed all plugs since i just bought the car.. new 02 censor on under driver side.. and cleaned egr valve... i dont knoew how to get that clip off my evap canister to evaluate it... so car sounds alot better but still cuts out bogs down dies.... its that evap some were cant find the control valve to check it either... and that 6th plug keeps misfireing.. pulled it out and it had black stuff all over it that happened a day later on new plug... what do i do??.. its a 3800 v6 1996

My brother and I have both owned 3.8 V6 Camaros. His was a 99 and mine was a 96. Both had the plug wires go bad. I also had to get a new EGR valve for his. I would start with getting new ACDelco plug wires for it. They can be a pain to route, but I bet that is your misfire problem.

If you are going to do work on the car, pickup a Haynes manual for it. That will help quite a bit. I always purchase the factory manuals for my cars(or find the factory manuals posted in pdf format on the net).
