yo guys i was removing ice from my windshield a few days ago and i didnt have a scraper so i used the bottom of an empty soda can to get the ice off. now i see like silver scratches or streaks across my windshield??? there not dug into the glass, they are smooth wut should i do to take it off im so pissed????

 

LOL! nice, bottom of a soda can! try acitone.. wil take anything off.

 

yea im friggin reatrded but there wasnt anything to scrape the crap off with but hopefully that will work and the windshield isnt permanently damaged

 

If that doesnt...try a very very fine steel wool. Used to detail, great for taking bugs off as well. And if there are scratches, you can have the windshield hit with a high speed buffer or use a healthy wax compound. Next time spend the extra 99 cents for a scraper!!
