ricey exhaust
why do most aftermarket exhaust systems sound so ricey? of the ones ive heard/seen only the SLP loudmouth systems actually sounds GOOD.
heres my evaluations so far:
flomaster 80 series=rice
it has a semi decent idle, but once you get on it, it sounds like some pissed off bumble bees in a tin can.
cutout=rice
sounds very loud, and it sounds very ****ty. ricey is only way to describe it.
open headers=pretty good
sounds pretty much like an 8 but not as loud.
SLP loudmouth=best
sounds great at idle and no ricey ness when you take off like the rest of the systems.
please add your comments and other systems and what you think or have experienced from them. thanks

I do not have that problem with my 3.4l
Ever try resonators?
They say high flow CAT and bigger I pipe and headers help the sound.
