reverse problem, new tranny or can it be repaired?
while backing up in reverse (manual trans) my reverse makes a bad grinding sound, this began after an attemted brake stand while accidentally in reverse(long stupid story dont ask, lol)this mistake broke my stock 2 piece driveshaft(replaced w/ lt1) and did something inside my tranny, all other gears are fine except reverse, do you guys think it can possibly be fixed or will i need a new tranny(still backs up fine just very bad grinding and somewhat rough) i would like to same my money for z28 rear and new tires instead of having to buy a new tranny,what do you guys think could be going on?, thx
