Removing a V6 engine.
Do you have access to a lift? I took mine out from the bottom and didn't have to remove anything. Came out with the manifolds, intake, heads, tranny and everything still on it. Of course this also means that you are dropping the entire front suspension but it really only take a few extra bolts.
I stuffed an LT1 back in it's place with everything on it as well including Hooker long tubes. I've helped a buddy take out an LT1 from the top as well and we had to removed heads, intake, headers, EVERYTHING to get it out. Just depends on what kind of shop resources you have.
