Rattling Noise, goes away when you push cluth in, HELP

I just bought my nice 96 Jet Black Camaro, 3.8 V6, 5 Speed, I notice when its in neutral and the parking brake is on theres a rattle that comes and goes, but if i push the cluth in, it goes away, what could this be? I`m new to camaro`s but so far i love her.

Re: Rattling Noise, goes away when you push cluth in, HELP

could be the clutch release bearing (aka throw out bearing)

i couldnt tell u unless i heard the rattle, it did this in my old mustang for 3 yrs, so i wouldnt be too concerned...

give us how many miles u have, and if u have the stock clutch... it could mean, one day, sooner or later u'd need a new clutch.............................

but then again, i'm only going on this cuz u say it goes away when the clutch is depressed (not sad)
