Ran the turbo bird........

was a very long day lol.......
the best was

14.6 @ 98 mph
2.365 60 ft

1/8 mile was 9.696 at 77 mph

Im dissapointed in the ET , even though I completely expected it. My car has never hooked up at the track, and it still doesn't

the mph really impressed me, NA my best MPH was at 87 mph, now at 98 mph thats 11 mph from ONLY 6 PSI.

had many issues with the car during the day. first my belt tensioner broke so I had to install a new one, then one of my rubber connectors in the intake exploded, so I was NA after that
I had just replaced that bastard yesterday too.

I didn't really want to go to the track right now, but fell in temptation. I still don't have a bigger fuel pump on the car and on upper RPMs it gets major detonation and therefore knock retard from the lack of fuel

Im pretty confident that with better fuel supply and timing tuned in, I can break 100 mph traps with only 6 psi

and if it ever hooks up...13s

but anyway , that was my day.

All hail the 3.4 King!

Your car runs almost exactly like an LT1. At only 6 psi with other problems as well, that is VERY impressive! Great job!

sweet keep tuning that car for months and months.... with that turbo on and keep that turbo on

semi disapointed, I would be happy with it, what is that roughly a second improvement on your times I think that is great. just learn keep practicing if you still have launch problems.

Thumbs up

Cool

I think if you can cut a ~2.0xx 60' you should run a 14 flat or maybe even high 13's. I've seen A4 LT1 cars run 13.8x's with your MPH but they were launching really well.

.......nice run turbo boy

But only 6 psi??? Come on.....you can run 35psi like mine

.....Lets put $100 bucks that my turbo truck will beat your turbo car????

Now I can rest a bit on the mods...

Keep up the good work and the quest!!! You have taken something that is slow as molasses, and made it run 14's.... I salute you

I guess we both like sleeper turbo'd speedsters

Didn't you initially say that you were going to run 10-12 psi? What happened to that? You may be near 12s if you can crank it up!

hey Tiago.....

does it take long for the Turbo to spool up or is almost instantanious.... As for the fuel problem can't you use any aftermakret kit for a lt1 along with your setup? Maybe a Walbro pump?

I was thinking the biggest problem with forced induciton on a v6 is playing with the computer.

Seriously are your nittos on a spare set of rims? if so run on your street tires, I have heard people not getting the hang of nittos and running better tiems on street tires.

ohh yeah mike I got your phone call last night, but realized it at 1 am....

i tired calling today, but I got no answer or voice mail? I am assuming its a cell phone since 386 is not a local number, I will try calling you agian but I got some finals stuff I am dealing with.

I think I might be going to Gainesville firday night, or at least OSW to race, and I am pretty sure I will be autoXing in Palm Bay on Sunday. If you want to come to either.

as Im revving the engine before the light goes green, the turbo already starts to spool, after I drop the clutch, it depends, thats what is so hard. if it hooks or spins a little it will take off ahrd and spool FAST......now what happens most of the time is it bogs very ****ty......then gotta wait for it to recuperate and then it starts spooling again.

the line between spin and bog is very fine....... I haven't found it yet, I rather spin really, didn't get to do that this time at the track, all mym launches were bogging
