ok so i was driving last night at about 30 - 35 mph and out of nowhere i see a raised manhole cover so i drive over it becasue there was nothing i could do and i hear a fairly loud 'clunk' noise from under the car.. so im driving and about 2 minutes later i get on it and my car starts sounding like a beast.. the idle was really loud and when i was driving around it was really loud.. SES light came on so i drove home and parked the car.. then i went inside and came out and started it and it wasnt loud.. SES light came on and went off after a few seconds of driving.. now today the car sounded fine but the SES light came on then went off again.. anyone know what couldve happened?

looked at my exhaust and i couldnt notice anything wrong.. unless its me ..bringing her to the mechanic tomw tho..
