ram air or CAI
i have a dilemma...i need to know whether to install an SLP ram air induction system or a whisper air induction lid????
which one makes for more power, and which one works better with or without the SS hood intake? basically which one is the better investment? also which one works better with the borla catback exhaust?
thanx

honestly if you can get both, get em. they both make quite a noticeable difference. if you want to get just one, get the CAI. it also gives the exhaust a litte bit more tone and helps it out. i have both, with a borla and it rocks
Actually, I've heard that if you have both ram air and CAI, you're not going to notice a gain from both. Either you get one or the other. CAI will give you the most gain in throttle response. Ram air really doesn't give you that much of a gain unless you're doing 80+ MPH down the road. Hense the term "ram air". CAI sucks air directly to the TB giving you cooler air simply because it's coming from underneath the car. Plus, the CAI kit comes with a blocker plate for rainy weather so you can't suck up any water. Mostly for running through deep puddles and such. Like I said, get one or the other. I'd recommend CAI over ram air any day. That's just my opinion though. Take it however you want.
