Questions on what to buy. Or not.

Okay guys you seem like you know what your doing. I currently have the worst car in the world, a 94 Pontiac Bonneville, on the edge of decomposing. I really need to step it up a bit.

Down the street is a 94 Camaro V6 thats being sold. It's in pretty bad shape but do you guys think its worth it to fix her up, maybe add a new exhuast, intake, headers, and body kit. I just need something that looks awesome and sounds even awesomer. I know V6's are not as fast as the z28s, but do you think if i really worked at it i could get it running pretty fast?

Also any suggestions on what to add to it would be awesome

thank you!

no.. dont get it if you are lookinh for a fast car. you will spend more money making a 6cyl compete with a stock v8, it will not be worth it. if u must get it, get a catback, headers, and a 50-75 shot with some good plugs. that will keep you competative with 8 cylinders

he is talking about nos

there not bad cars there a little slow. i have been on both sides of this i still have the v6 though the lt1 is long gone now. there not bad they just lack power headers and catback do a little but not that great i haven't run nitrous at it i might if i can find a cheap kit as i plan on trading mine in when the 5th gen comes out. I like it, its fun to drive its just gutless.

depend what you mean in bad shape and the price if you going to have to put in to it.

well lets put it this way

do you think if i fixed up this camaro with all the things i said before i would be able to compete with him?

yah nos is a brand not the product im just to lazy to spell out nitrous oxide. sorta like LOL and FTW. it sorta like calling soda coke. Every one does it because its easy for people to recognize but coke cola and Pepsi are brands.

possibly i like to watch it and laugh at how ridiculous that movie was. i didnt wast my time watching 2 or 3.

but i think it has more to do with how popular the brand NOS was. i mean i remember seeing edelbroc and stuff but i dont remember seeing alot of the brands you see today like xenon, zex, venom an other brands maybe just because i was never into really running that kinda stuff. I much rather run a supercharger on a performance cars.

dont get it. 3.4s are extremely underpowered. so not only are they slow, but they get pretty bad gas mileage. i would wait till you found a 3.8, if you want a v6...
