My brother is replacing a head gasket on his (STOCK) 2001 3.8... When putting it back together, he was wondering if you guys continue to use the stock plastic intake manifold or buy a stock cast iron one. If you continue to use the plastic one any info on gaskets and type of gasket sealer? The car is and will stay STOCK.

 

I have a 2000, mine is cast aluminum, I thought they all were aluminum, never seen a plastic one before, did they change it is 2001?

 

I told my brother what you said, Evolution123 and after rechecking all he said to me was wooppss. It's aluminum. See if I ever post any thing for him again.
