P codes HELP!!!!!

Hey ya'll. I have a 99 Camaro, 3.8. I replaced the plugs, wires, and fuel filter. Now my car is missing bad, SES light on solid. I have the P0300 code which I was told is random, multiple misfires. My car has 157,000 miles on it. Where do I start? Maybe a bad set of plugs or wires??? HELP!!!!!

Well, there are a few different places you could check.

1. At 157 grand I would hope that the plugs and wires have been changed already. If not, DO IT! Don't go the cheap route, get a good set of plugs (Bosch Plats, or AC Rapidfires) and a good set of wires, from the same brands, or even ACCEL or MSD, does'nt matter.

2. If that does'nt help, you should check the coils, (not much of a way to check em except for continuity.)

3. If neither of those work, check the cam, and the Crank position sensor. those have been known to start going bad, and throwing off all kinds of codes.

Yep, I have changed the plugs and the wires. This was the second time. When I changed them, then the problem started. And it's not constant. This morning it ran pretty good. It had a little miss, but not enough to turn on the SES light.

How do I have that many miles?? I work for an industrial electronics company. I cover from New Orleans, La to Springdale, Ark, and from Longveiw, Tx to Jackson, Ms. It doesn't take long.

It's been a real good car. This is the only real problem I've had.

I LOVE MY CAMARO!!!!!

Ideas:

1. Loose/bad wire@plug.
2. Loose/bad plug.
3. Bad coil pack.
4. Dirty/bad connection to coil@wire..

Those, if intermittent and throwing PO300.
