Is this normal????

Hey everyone.. Im new here.

I just bought a 96 camaro with a 3800and a 5 speed. I went from a 97 F-150 to this camaro. As far as speed is concerned its good enough for now but the suspension is "weird " to me.

Ive noticed that when I am driving around 55mph on an on/offramp that it seems that the front tires feel like they are trying to "slip" kinda like I hit a small patch of Ice. Does anyone elses car do this??? It makes me back off the gas right away, but I feel the car should be able to handle it. The car has aftermarket 16 inch rims on it now and I think the tires are "avengers" or something like that. Is this a suspension issue or tires or what??? I can hold my own in a garage and can do all my own work but never got deep enough into suspension to know what to mod. Any help would be appreciated. I drive to South Carolina alot and being able to zip through the twistys in the mountains would be sweet!

My ABS INOP light is on also and it seems thatthe brakes will lock up alot easier then I think they should.... is this a common issue??? I would imagine with the ABS working it would still try to lock early but the ABS would cure it.... maybe the 2 issues are caused by the same thing???

I have a friend who parts out a 95 firebird with a LT1 and he stil has the suspension..... If this is a suspension upgrade that it needs, I'ld like to do it, but I really want to getthe car tto stick to the road better when cornering. PLEASE HELP!

My first car was a V6 Camaro and the front ever never felt like it was near slipping. I have had the rear end fish tail many times but haven't ever felt like the front was slipping.

Doesn't sound normal to me...if that were my car, I'd check it out ASAP.

My SS is one inch higher then my brothers V6 Camaro and the SS obviously weighs more. My point is your car will probably be higher off the ground if you put that trans am suspension on your car.
