new some help troubleshooting (massive misfire)

well over the summer, i started my car and for about 10 min it ran really rough (possibly misfiring, i think something got wet). But after the engine got hot it went away and ran decent.....not great though..so i figured that my ignition coils were starting to go bad. fast forward to november.....i hadnt got around to fixing my coils yet...and when i started the car to come home from thanksgiving it started extra ****y...definately misfiring on at least 2 cylinders. Well i didnt have any other way to get back to school so i had to drive it down(about 140 miles...i know im dumb, but i had no other options, and it felt like i had a WHOLE 50-80 hp). so today i went out and bought 3 new coils and put them on, plus i had napa check the ignition modual, but it still is doing the same thing it did before. I have msd 8mm wires and i checked them to make sure they werent burnt..and they are fine. and after driving it around for like 10 min, after the new coils, i felt the engine on the drives side and it was only slightly warm, not very hot like the passenger side....So this is where im stumped, the only other thing i can think of is that my spark plugs got burn up on the drive back to school.

please let me know if you know whats going on here

Check out one of the sticky's at the top by gig "The great misfire mystery". Can't hurt to try it out.

well i pulled the plugs, and to no surprize all three cylinders on the drivers side aint firing, hense the engine being only slightly warm on that side. I pulled the boots off while the car was running and all the cylinders are getting spark, up to the plugs at least. I changed the plugs, but it still seems like it is doing the same thing. i guess my next step is to check the fuel filter and maybe get some injector cleaner. any help would be nice.
PS I read the sticky at the top and it doesnt seem like that is my problem. I have a 3.4L and it runs relatively cool.
