I have been driving this 1995 v6 camaro with about 75k miles on it now and I have this STRANGE starting problem with it.
Witha full tank of gas it will most of the time start on the first try. After it goes below the full level it takes sometimes up to 30 seconds for this car to start up. I have been wondering if it from th etune up I gave it or if this seems to be a sign of the fuel pump starting to go out? I have had this problem for a few months now and it's queit annoying and what not. thanks for the info.

I had that problem, for me, it had something to do with the evap canister conections. the tank wouldnt hold pressure right. The car would smell like gas and only when i had a full tank would it start right up. If i drove 15 minutes and turned the car off it wouldnt start right up. I replaced the connections and it seems ok so far. Not sure if that would help you, but it may be worth a shot.

The evap canister resides behind the driver side rear wheel. You can pull back the splash gaurd to get to it. its easier to get to if you take the wheel off. The connections are simple peices of hose. GM has a bad habit of using peices of hose to connect things, with and with out clamps. I dont remeber the mesurements on the hoses i used, Although if i remeber correctly there were too different sizes needed. I changed the rear connections by the canister, the connections going in to the purge valve underneth the hood, and there is one more underneath the middle of the car (driver side) that i also replaced.
Make sure you take a good look, because they may appear to be in good order, but they may have leaks or have hairline cracks, and that enough to cause the pressure to escape.
