That's totally understandable. I've been trying to submit my timeslip to the link provided to firebirdv6, but it keeps coming back to me. I'm just going to mail it to the guy directly. I see where you're coming from and I understand. I felt the same way when I was on the Rk board before it got shut down. Nino can tell you what I mean. By the way Nino...thanks for getting my back on this one .
I never took my car to the track before all the mods. My friends at work actually talked me into going. It's taken a while to get the car where it is today and now I'm changing it all over again with the swap. Typical guy...better and faster is not something you want....you GOTTA HAVE IT!

I appologize to anyone who thinks I came to the board just to run my mouth and all that jazz. That's not my intention, I joined because I KNOW I'm going to have a lot of questions when I start my swap. I just hope someone here has done or knows someone who did a swap in the past. I'm going to try to do as much as I can on my own. I guess it's that sense of accomplishment, and being able to fix it myself if it breaks. Anyway, I'm sure you'll all see much more of me in the future. Like I said, I'm not here to upset anyone so please don't think that. Thanks again Nino...

All Inthered, youre running high 17's in your camaro? How exactly is that? Shouldnt you be running low to mid 15's stock? V6 Camaros gotta have more ***** than that.

I was just reading your posts since I'm new to the board as well, and I was curious how this thing works. Something you wrote caught my eye, and I don't want to sound like I'm giving you a hard time, but how did you manage five runs with such inconsistent times? I know you would obviously get your time trials, but once eliminations start, how did you manage to continue? Did you just get lucky with your dial in times? If not, you've got to tell me your trick! When I started racing I always got screwed as the nite went on and the weather got cooler and I was too afraid to drop my time down a little... It took me two years at the tracks to finally learn my car and my own driving habits well enough to dial in correctly. Then I go and add mods, and I have to relearn the whole process... But that's off the subject. Those are some great times for a V6. So many people don't even bother to add any mods to their cars without first having the v8... Not many people realize how much power you can get out of that 3.8 ... But just wait till you get that LS1 in... You'll love it! Just make sure to get a roll bar before you race so they don't dq you halfway through the nite! (I learned that one the hard way) Oh... the joys of having a convertible!
