New best

All geared up for nitrous

26 X 10.5 X 16 et streets
NGK TR6 plugs gapped at 0.035 - nitrous plugs
1/2 tank of gas

Friday night..... fuel solenoid would click 2-3 times and then activate. I tried everything to get it to eliminate the clicking (aka stuttering) but I could not get rid of it. It was enhough of a sputter to cause nitrous damage so I ran N/A the next day.

The nitrous plugs and et streets are not the best for me N/A. I run a dedicated N/A plug (Champion copper gapped at 0.060) and BF drags 255 50 16's.

Times as follows:

r/t.....041
60......1.752 --- new best!!!
330.....5.472
1/8.....8.646 --- new best!!!
mph.....77.26
1000....11.399
1/4.....13.746 --- new best!!!
mph.....95.83

This was done with a 2,500 stalled launch, front drag shocks to 1 (all loose), rear drag shocks to 10, skinnies at 50 psi, et streets at 28 psi

HOTNESS! New best!

r/t.....053
60......1.821
330.....5.537
1/8.....8.704
mph.....77.53 --- new best !!!
1000....11.445
1/4.....13.778
mph.....96.38 --- new best!!!

Same drag shock setting, raised the rpm launch to 2800 and I spun a bit (maybe 2-3 hops?) skinnies tire psi 45, et street tire psi 27

r/t.....047
60......1.935
330.....5.663
1/8.....8.854
mph.....77.41
1000....11.608
1/4.....13.950
mph.....96.03

3200 stalled launch, spun bad and wicked wheel hop!! Rear drag shocks were set at 9 instead of 10, tire psi the same

dial in.13.71
r/t.....149
60......1.766
330.....5.502
1/8.....8.691
mph.....76.92
1000....11.456
1/4.....13.814
mph.....95.37

2500 stalled launch, drag shocks the same, skinny tire psi to 45, et street psi 26 chirped the tires

Curb weight - 2848 --- new best!
Race weight - 3060 1st run and 3050 end of day.

So, new best 60 ft, 1/4 mile ET, 1/4 mile MPH, 1/8 ET, 1/8 mph and curb weight!

Done on et streets and nitrous plugs..... wonder what would happen w/ bf drags and N/A plugs [Smile]

Weather was gorgeous!

Nice thing to think about..... whatever I run N/A.... I have typically run 2 seconds quicker on nitrous.

I know the bird has a 13.6 in it N/A.... maybe I get there before the end of the season.

I will need a mickey thompson et DRAG for nitrous runs.... the 60's will be silly!
