New 99 V6
New 99 V6
Hey,
I am thinking of getting a new 99 V6 m5. Is there any problems with the cars that I should look for when looking at the car? Any problems that these cars typically have?
Thanks!
Mike

Re: New 99 V6
Nice, I've got one
. There isn't really any common problems (that I know of at least) to look for on the v6. Careful when going in reverse though because the transmission either doesn't have or has a crappy synchro for reverse and it grinds very easily. Just go into another gear first and you shouldn't have a problem. Enjoy, it's not quite a Z28 but it's still quick and fun!

(REad the sticky at the top of this section about "the great misfire mystery") Its semi-common, but can be fixed yourself.
Other then that nothing too out of the ordinary for an f-body.
