New 3.4L

Where can I pick up a new 3.4L block or complete engine. How much will it cost. And is it the same exact motor as the one in 93-95 camaros?

I believe they're putting a new 3.4 for in some car. I think I read that somewhere.

Do a search on the internet for 3.4 blocks.

As for being the same, it would be a Gen II 3.4

I don't believe they are putting the Gen II and Gen III 3.4L in any RWD applications though.

I think you are limited to getting a low mileage salvage 3.4L block although it is possible to swap on Gen III aluminum heads, and intake manifold onto the FWD 3.4L block.

i believe GM perfomance sells a 3.4L crate engine. Not a high horsepower version or anything special, just a running 3.4L. Now if you're just looking for a block, I have the old 3.4L out of my 94 camaro, had 90k miles on it when it locked, but the only thing thats bad are the crankbearings, crank journals. don't know about the cam bearings and cam though. it's complete except for the accesories and wiring harness, and needs a cam sensor. If you want it, make an offer. it's taking up space in my garage and i need it gone, you pay shipping though.
