Cool

V8 conversion!

Hehe... Just kidding...

Catback and headers first come to mind to complement your current mods. Maybe a turbo or a S/C after that, if you wan to go that far.

After that, you pretty much have to start digging inside the engine to find more.

Or, if you want to go the "easy" way, get a shot of nitrous.

Good luck!

Yup definatley a catback would help things flow more. Decent one installed will probably run like 250-300 dollars depending on which one you choose.

I'd definately go with the catback, since it is one of the first/basic mods. I'm kind of surprised that you haven't gotten one yet but it is always good to wait, and do researched about each system before jumping in.

Catback.

Headers next.

NItrous, definately, if you take it to the track.

I added a magna muffler to my 2001 camaro v6 which is not catback. How can I make my car catback without purchasing a whole new set? Can I use my magna muffler and just add the rest somehow?

Seriously...wanting to learn is fine. But being lazy about it isn't.

Do a SEARCH or just read up on other posts. The post "muffler or catback" is only a few posts down and answers your question EXACTLY.

Don't expect to be spoonfed info...put some effort into it.

Maybe I'll have to drive up to Daly City and teach you...

not to insult, but does it seem like people are asking the same questions w/o searching..? maybe they should make the search button 3x what it is.. its getting annoying.

Amen to that.

Kinda like the old saying "Teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime".

Teach the newbs to use the search button and they'll find all the answers to their questions.

But...I guess it requires too much effort.

Either that or they like to get vets annoyed.

Are you sure about the water pump? Thought the only one that worked was the Mez since our pump is reverse flow. Summit lists V6 Camaro through 87 for that Mr. Gasket pump.

Summit has two Water pumps listed for the 3.8L (231) V6 Camaro
1.Moroso Electric Water Pump Drive Kits
2.Proform Universal Electric Water Pump Drive Kits

Hey is still hard for me to believe that summit sells electric water pumps for the V6 Camaro but if you want to find for sure call them up. I found it on there site. But I'm sure it's wrong
