I've never heard it on the V6 cars. I have a Magnaflow on my V8 and love the sound. A little more "civilized" than the Flowmaster on the same engine.
We put a Flowmaster on my wife's V6 and we both think it sounds great too.

I say go with either dynomax, flowmaster or a take off z28 one.
