If your current car is in sound shape body wise and you have an LT1 donor car, then I think it would be worth it to do the swap.

Not very hard at all. Im just completing a swap right now. '96 v6 body to '94 lt1. Ive just been working on it myself on the weekends. I started it around Sept 20 and am about to finish up this weekend. I took my time. Your swap should be much easier. I had to convert the 96 obd II to 94 obd I. If you've got a shop it will be MUCH easier. Ive been working on mine outside. So im limited by daylight to work on it. I've heard of several people on this site who have done the swap in 4 days. Its possible to do. www.shbox.com is a good referance site.
