lowering springs and wheels

hey guys. i am looking to buy some wheels for my 98 firebird and i am also going to purchase lowering springs. can i fit 18s under the car with out a problem after the lowering kit is installed, or will the tires hit the fender wells? should i get 17s or 18s?

I use sprint springs and it dropped my car 2+ inches. If depends on the offset of the wheel you get. If you get 18" wheels with a negative(deepdish)offset, than It'll rub hitting dips. My stock 16s don't rub at all due to the regular offset.
