2000 V-6, 103000 miles, very well taken care of. I have a small oil leak that appears to be from the rear area of the intake manifold. It's pretty hard to see anything back there, so besides replacing an intake gasket, are there any typical causes of oil leaks from the rear top of this motor?

I have studied the Helm Manual, but can't see anything obvious. Thanks for any and all suggestions

 

is it the top or is it from the rear main seal

 

Above the heads. It ends up in the rear seal area, but it is migrating down from the intake manifold gasket or something up there in the rear top of the motor...like an oil pressure sending unit, etc.

 

Probably a leaking intake gasket, it is not uncommon.
