I was wondering if it would be posible for me to put lifters from an LT1 into my 3800. Because a while ago i collapsed one and i can get an LT1 set for free if it will work.

 

not 100% sure but I doubt it or it may end up being a job that requires other stuff to be swapped. As I know there is a fundamental difference between the 3800 and LT1 in the way we set the lash... the 3800 has no lash adjustment because of the lifters (hydraulic) being self adjusting, but the LT1 is completely different and there is the usual process for setting the lash.
