Tirerack.com is a great place to shop, but so is discounttire.com. Check out the Dunlop SP Sport A2

I've been around Kumho as a farm type tire, but not a performance tire. Look at the tread wear and traction rating and the surveys of the tire on tire rack.

The Kumho 712 is a decent tire, and you can't beat the price!

The 711 are narrow crap but the 712 are pretty beefy.

I have them on my Stealth right now and they are pretty good. There are better tires out there but for the price, they are good. I don't know if we'll have this problem, but my friend's T/A with the Kumho tires do not hook up well from a stop.

Thumbs up

If I wouldn't have come across a set of wheels w/almost new BFG G-force KDW's at a very good price, I would've bought the 712's.

I've heard and read a lot of good things about them. But now my next tire purchase has been pushed forward by another 2-2.5 years.

I have 255/50s on my Z and they are pretty damn good for what I paid for 'em (tirerack.com). I cut pretty decent 60' times on them, I haven't had them in the rain yet, but I've only heard good things about their wet traction.
