1. What trim Vortech you have? 18 PSI is a nice number for a supercharger. Have problems with belt slip? What'd you do to COOL this 18 PSI beast?
2. Have fun finding that mounting hardware, or did you fab it yourself?
3. Stage 3 Plugs and wires? What heat range are "stage 3" plugs and wires. Damn, and here I am running 'Stage 2' plugs and wires and robbing myself of at least 2700 horses.
4. Hooker headers? On a 3800 Camaro? Interesting. Maybe that's something new too. Must be like new Pacesetter 3800 headers - the ones continually in R&D...
4a. SLP makes Whisper lids? Interesting. They make lids, but not Whisper lids. Whisper makes Whisper lids - just like Whisper catbacks.
4b. Let me guess, you meant the SLP supercharger pulley? SLP part# 100227A...why? SLP DOESN'T MAKE A CRANK, ETC. PULLEY FOR OUR CARS - PERIOD! The SLP supercharger pulley, furthermore, won't FIT your VORTECH SUPERCHARGER! Guess what else? Checked SLP Engineering - just to be sure - they don't make ANY pulley other than the supercharger one.
5. SS torque converter? Nice, considering the LS1 SS automatic transmission's torque converter will not bolt up on our cars (neither will the transmission). Hence the reason you have to SPECIFY what ENGINE you have when ordering ANY converter - otherwise Yank/PI,etc. will send you one for the LS1 and you'll be SCREWED. Sorry, no dice. Oh but wait - not stock transmission. You get one out of a SuperSport Camaro? See above for requisite information.
6. Camaro SS '3.75' rear? No such thing. Try again.
7. ZO6 "intake support"....what the HELL are you talkin about?! Sounds like your car story needs more support than that.
8. Cutout on a Borla catback for our cars? They ARE a cutout if you indeed got the catback exhaust - why put a cutout on a Borla adjustable exhaust?! Then again, I'm sure someone that knew about Borla exhaust would have known that. But then again you're at 18 PSI headerless, eh? You must've mounted that cutout after the stock manifolds and Y-pipe. Riiiiight. Ask Shirl about this one happening anytime soon. There's a reason she bought headers and a Y-pipe. But oh...you probably magically are going to add those to your "I forgot about those" list.
9. LS1 edit?! DON'T GET ME STARTED. That's NOT possible - period. PERIOD. I'd love to see what happens when you tell "LS1 Edit" that the LS1 you're tuning on has 6 cylinders, injectors, etc. rather than the required 8. Wait - there's no parameter I'm familiar of with LS1 Edit that allows you to add/subtract cylinder number from the PCM. I know for a FACT LT1 Edit will not work on my car - NOR will it work with an aftermarket PCM in a 3800 car...PERIOD. If you can LS1 Edit a new PCM, hook it to a 3800 PCM and have it work...wait, why has no one thought of this before? Hmmm...I wonder why. Damn, Magnus was wasting his time trying to crack our computer code...you know - the one that has NOTHING WHATSOEVER IN COMMON WITH THE LS1 EXCEPT DELPHI/GM PROPRIETARY PROGRAMMING?! Yeah. Torque management is, in fact, so dissimilar that many aftermarket PCM tuners said "the Hell with this" and dropped it - why you think Hypertech stays away from [or at least has taken a LONG time with] the 1995-1999 PCMs? Think about it. They knew the interest was there. If all they had to do was LS1 Edit the car...or even LT1 Edit the car.........yeah, you get my drift. We're not talking a FAST DFI system on the car or anything - so you'll excuse me while I crap all over this part of your post.
10. Tint and blackouts. That I might believe. At least those parts exist.
This thread is locked due to trolling. Plain and simple. If I had an 18 PSI monster 3800 V6, I'd tell everyone what pistons, rods, etc. I got - not just "Oh, and you're right, I have those too." Those are a BIG damn investment, and you BLEW it right there - not to mention that in order to be a GOOD troll, you at least have to do SOME research first.
DO NOT CONTINUE THIS THREAD BY OPENING ANOTHER ONE - PERIOD. STOP WASTING OUR TIME WITH THIS LOAD OF BS AGAIN. PERIOD.
