JET modules

I have a 1998 3.8, and I am looking into buying a JET module (http://www.ammperformance.com/V6CompElec.htm -- down the page,) and I am wondering if I should go for a stage 1 or 2. . . I have a Whisper lid, K&N, and will be installing a CAI kit. Also, I intend to do the exhaust in the next couple months. Will it be fine to use the stage 2 (as long as I run a 160 stat) for a couple months until I install an exhaust? It says that a less restrictive exhaust system is necessary; but I really don't know! Thanks!

SURE!

You should be fine running the stage 2 for a while with the normal exhaust it won't HURT performance not having your exhaust done when you install it. It will just help MORE when you do upgrade the exhaust!

Just curious but how difficult was it to put in the 160 stat? I've had this car for way too long with out doing anything in a long time.

if your going to pay that much for the chip i say just get thr programmer for a little more. if you plan on doing more to the car it will be worth more then the chip!
