Jerking brakes

ok, here is the deal, whenever I go to stop, the car like jumps really bad. Its been doing this for a while. My dad told me to just get my rotors turned. Well.....I have been putting it off for a long time, but I just got some extra cash, and I was wondering if I am going to have to replace my rotors, since its been so long. If so, I will probably just replace the brake pads as well. How much do yall think this will cost? New rotors and pads? Thanks! Its a 99 V6

You can get them turned , they prolly warp again.
If you got pads & rotors installed & supplied by the shop your lookin at least $300.
Have you ever thought about doing it yourself?

Do it yourself.

Http://www.installuniversity.com has a good writeup on how to do it. As was stated before, get the rotors from autozone. If memory serves me right, they are about $39 per rotor. I would get some HAWK HPS pads. They have worked great for me in the past. You can save yourself a ton of money by getting your hands dirt for about an hour.
