whats the inlet-outlet on the firebird and how bad do the stock pipes effect the sound.......thanks man


by the way where can i get some tail pipes if i just have the muffler and 1 stock outlet

 

2.25 in/out. My flowmaster muffler sounds pretty good with the stock inlet pipe. Are you talking about keeping the same muffler and making it duals? Thats impossible. Get a full catback system to see any gains though. I saw no gains when i just replaced the stock single outlet muffler with a dual outlet flowmaster.

 

My stock outlet was 2.5 inches. 2.25 inlet. just get a take off from SLP. It sounds nice and the install is clean and easy. Plus you gotta love that poping and cackle when you let off the gas.
