Angry I need a cat p/n? or aftermarket replacement? need help ASAP

Ok! my stock cat is busted, gm clames it was due to the SLP intake module.. so they wont cover it.. But thats a whole diffrent problem..

Here are my questions.

the stock pipe size is 2.25 in?

What is the P/N for the GM cat (2000 3800)?

They told me it was over $1000 for the cat.. so I am thinking about getting an aftermarket one for my stock exhaust.

does anyone have any recomendations?
DYNOMAX?
I need to know how long of a cat shuld i use as a replacement?
i think dyno max offers a 14in and an 18 in with 2.25 in and outlets...
What are my options??

not trying to spend $1000 on a new cat!!

thanks in advance for any help!

Go to your local muffler shop and get a Hi-Flo cat installed for about 80-100 bucks.

1000 bucks for a cat.......better be a Siberian Tiger

unless they are complete dolts.....the exhaust shop should know exactly what you need....i just snagged a catco....wasn't even the right length, and they welded on some pipe to make it the right length...no biggie to them, they love welding i'd just take it in and tell them what you want....

ANYWAY now that i have this bomb *** cat I figure I may as well do an end section..

any recomendations? i really dont give a dam about sound.. i just want something thats legal and makes more power.. I have the y87 exhaust now and i like the way it looks, not too worried about tips..
