HP Progressive Tuner?
HP Progressive Tuner?
Hey everyone I saw this on ebay, below is the link or if you want I copied and pasted the description below as well.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...spagename=WDVW
HERE IS THE DISCRIPTION THAT I COPIED AND PASTED FROM THE AUCTION.
The Progressive tuner simply wires into the factory socket already under the hood of your vehicle. Like the name suggests, you will instantly notice an improvement in response, acceleration, torque, and horsepower, or your money back. Don't be fooled into believing that expensive ECU units are the only way to safely and legally give your vehicle that extra kick!
THIS IS NOT A CHIP!!!
Once installed, locate an area near the drivers seat to adjust the tuner. When the tuners boost dial is low, you should see a gain of about 7-10HP and should get the same gas mileage as stock. When you turn the boost up, you should see a gain of about 15-22 hp. At full boost gas mileage will decrease about 2mpg but what will you care when your getting all the extra power!!!
This is better than nitrous without The Nitrous effects on the motor.
The Progressive Tuner simply wires into the factory harness of the IAT sensor. The module will work with the sensor to provide a new signal to your vehicles computer, or ECU. The ECU then adjusts your air/fuel and timing advance curves to new performance settings. Our progressive tuner eliminates costly parts and installation of ECU components (many ECU mods require you to solder and modify the main board), and still safely and legally provides the same end results. There is no risk of damage to the engine or electrical system since the modified sensor signal will always remain within the manufacturer’s recommended specifications. The Module works in conjunction with your vehicles ECU and will not affect engine reliability. Installation is very simple. All instructions are included and install should take about a 1/2 hour. The Performance Power Module can even quickly and easily be removed or re-installed at any time.
Our products are backed by a 100% Lifetime Guarantee. If the kit or any component ever malfunctions, it will be replaced at no extra cost. No questions asked, no hassles!
SO IS THIS A PEICE OF JUNK OR DOES IT REALLY WORK?

Re: HP Progressive Tuner?
ianwells and "the other guy who told you to look at turbonator" are the same person.
turbonator is a joke. and also, don't get stuff off ebay unless you know enough about cars to differentiate between crap and quality.

Hey scof0elife, I know it may not seem like it, but we're trying to help you out here.
See, the questions that you've asking are ones that have been asked before (and answered) and/or questions that are very basic. I guarantee that if you were to go to a trade show, car show or mechanical shop and show them that eBay "programmer", they would all laugh at it because they KNOW it is a scam.
YOU don't. It isn't your fault, you just don't have the car knowledge yet. Having questions is fine but you need to help yourself by learning this stuff and not expecting to be spoon fed the info.
There are a lot of great people here who know a lot about cars who are willing to help out but you have to put in some effort as well. If you aren't willing to learn on your own, as you've been demonstrating by telling people to "F OFF, you aren't going to get any future help as you'll just alienate yourself more from the guys here.
And like I said, we're trying to help you learn. The great thing is that as you learn more and more, you'll be able to answer your own questions before coming to the board. I posted a link for you in a post about a week ago that would help you out a lot.
Your choice...

Re: HP Progressive Tuner?
That is what I was thinking of doing. But the type of job I have has it hard for me to take any classes right now.
And for importkiller I understand what you are saying. But trust me, I do search. I searched about cut-outs and not much came up. I did not see anything posted that told me exactly what I wanted to know.
But right on for coming at me in a better way. I appreciate that.
