How much should I sell for?

Well ladies and gentleman, after a long stretch with my 1984 Camaro I'm contemplating parting with it. However, I have no idea how much I should actually ask for it. Blue book is like $1400 but I have more like $12,000 into it including the original $2700 i bought it for.
Here's the low down on the car:
Hood/Drivetrain:
1984 Camaro SC (F41 package)

1985 2.8LV6 bored .020 over in it though
milled heads, Crane Cam/lifters, full rebuild including remanufactured crank, pistons, sealed chrome piston rings; Clevite Timing Chain/Gearset; Hypertech chip/160 deg thermostat; Accel supercoil/plugs/wires; Cold air intake; TB coolant bypass; K&N Filters; Flomaster muffler with dual 2" tips & Walker Hi-Flo cat; a/c compressor is there but not hooked up nor does it work; Centerforce clutch, Hurst shifter (5spd);
Engine now has about 25,000 miles on it;

New shocks/struts; and BMR front and rear swaybars;

American Racing rims;

MTX 325Watt Amp/dual 10" Fosgate Z-Punch subs; tint all the way around on the windows; Kenwood CD Head Unit

Interior: new head liner; needs front carpet kit and passenger side seat needs reupholstering but I have seat covers on as of now; Everything else in the interior is in good overall condition;

Paint job: 7 coats of primer, 5 coats paint, 2 clear coats; (PPG Deltron) done by Sam Red of Lone Star Corvette (Houston, TX)

Paint job cost me $2900 after I had sanded the car down myself so all in all it would have cost about $4500 probably;

Overall the car is in great condition; no oil leaks since engine was rebuilt only 2 years ago; Paint just got touched up so it's almost new; everything else is in great condition minus the small problems in the interior and the fact the a/c is not hooked up nor does it work (needs a complete a/c overhaul and conversion to R-134a)

So does anyone know how much I should start off asking and if need be what's the lowest $$$ I should take. I appreciate it! Included are a few pics of it.

Sell it for 3K, see how it goes, if no buyers, then sell it for less. People dont pay for what u put in the car, thats why modding your car brings down the value.

Hate to say it, but...

Really nice looking car you got there! However, unless you find a buyer who appreciates all the time and $$$ you have put into it and wants your car and your car only, you might have hard time to get even $4-$5K out of it.

That could be already pushing it, but who knows...

In any case: Good luck!!!

I'm more hoping to find an enthusiast. Remember, it'll be 20 years old pretty soon so it's not that from from the "collector" age.

mods dont mean crap when you sell a car. and paint is only surface deep.. you may be able to get the 2,700 out of it that you paid for it , but dont get your hopes up for more.

and no offense to your car , but not many collectors want an 84 V6 camaro...

doesn't matter about the engine so much; but the body/paint; perfect especially for throwing another engine into it
