I don't think it'd be wise to go over 8 intercooled lbs.

think about it...

for the price of a supercharger kit you could go out and get yourself a V-8 instead!
actually, if you're one of those people who prefer to turn their own wrench(such as myself! ), you can put together a 355 small block for just under 3Gs and you'll be cranking out around 375HP... way more than you'll ever get out of supercharging your V-6!

however, if you rather supercharge your 6, i wouldn't go any higher then 7PSI!

choices:
1. Save the money you were going to spend, trade in the car, get a Z-28. (what I did)
2. Don't buy a supercharger, but instead get a big motor...... theres alot of hidden work in that. With the motor comes all sorts of other parts, plus you have the beef up the car to handle it ect.
3. Buy some internals, build the motor, supercharge it, and have a unique and really fast v-6. Not for everyone, cost money, but it'd be badass.
Your money, your choice. Performance 99% of the time isn't cheap.

Side note: GMHTP did an article on a supercharged 3.8 F-body, it ran 13.8 in the 1/4. That's pretty fast, I don't know if thats common though.

What exactly do you want to accomplish with the car?
