How do you tell if the cat is bad?
Like the title says!
I have had alot of misfires lately, and now it shoots black stuff out my tail pipes.

Its a pain to keep them really clean!

I dont know if youre having cat problems... maybe fuel/igniton. Anyways though, the local Midas near me tests cats for free. Take your car down to a shop and get it tested.
